Processing register
Article 30 of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) requires companies to maintain a “register of processing activities”. In common parlance, the short form “processing register” has become established. We use this term in this disclosure.

1. Visiting the website
Anonymized statistics are created based on surfing behavior on the website. The products visited and the duration of page visits are taken into account. No personal data is stored.

2. Use of the contact form
In order to process your contact via the contact form, a valid email address is required in order to be able to receive and reply to messages. The message itself and the security code, which is intended to protect against spam, are also mandatory fields. It is possible to fill in optional fields that can improve communication (e.g.: addressing the customer personally by name). All data is transmitted via a secure SSL connection.
The data from the contact form is used for the following processing, as long as this is expressly requested by the sender and recipient:
- General information about the company and the products
- Non-binding recommendations for using the products
- Non-binding offers
- Information about orders placed*
- Information about the order status*
- Information about the payment status*
- Warranty claims*
- Cancellation of the order*
- This information is only provided to registered customers after showing the order number and when sending the message, stating the email address that was used to place the order and to which the customer account was registered.
Sending personal information regarding health, financial situation or account information (including credit card details) is expressly not recommended.
3. Creating and using a customer account
To create, manage and use a customer account, data is collected that is necessary for processing offers, orders, payments, deliveries, delivery information, service (e.g. application recommendations if expressly requested by the customer), cancellation of the order and warranty claims. This data includes:
- First name, last name
- Date of birth
- E-mail address
- Self-selected password**
- Address (consisting of: street, zip code, city, country)
- Telephone number
In addition, data such as:
- Company name
- Different delivery address
- VAT number
- Notes for better processing of orders and service
These additional entries can be viewed by the customer at any time by logging into the customer account and can be edited or deleted there. Additional entries in the customer account are generally entered by the customer themselves or after an express, written request.

3. a. Purchase of download items
When purchasing download items, the number of download attempts is saved in addition to the data already provided. This is used to identify potential technical problems the customer may have when downloading the purchased item.
3. b. Deletion of the customer account
Upon written request, a customer account can be completely deleted either in the account management or by one of our employees. Orders cannot be deleted for tax reasons. After the customer account has been deleted and all open processes have been processed (e.g. shipping an order that was placed before deletion), the customer’s data will no longer be processed by us.
4. Information about the processing of your data
If you would like information about the processing of your data, we are obliged to send you this in writing within one month. If the response to the request is complex and there are multiple requests, the deadline can be extended by a further two months.
